Gaston Lenotre nous a quitte
ガストン・ルノートル氏が8日、ソローニュの自宅で亡くなった。88歳。
ルノートル氏は1957年、パリ16区に総菜のテイクアウトという新しいスタイルの店舗をオープン。伝統にとらわれない新しい味覚や新製品を打ち出してきた。
しかし高い品質と価値にこだわり、その仕事をこよなく愛したルノートル氏は職人的な高品質と大量生産過程の管理を見事に両立させるに至った。また料理・菓子学校を設立し、欧州でも主要なスクールの一つとなっている。
「ルノートル」は、12ヶ国に35店舗が展開されている。
